He works with IT industry analysts to identify trends and buying behaviors to better position the company’s services and business initiatives in meeting customer needs. He collaborates with teams across AWS to deliver a consistent message to IT influencers and ensure AWS is recognized and differentiated in the cloud service market.

Chris Burrell

Director of AR @ Zscaler

Formerly a customer success professional at IBM, Chris has been mostly focused on cybersecurity in his AR career. He has worked at companies ranging from large mega software vendors, to service providers, to smaller category-creating companies. Chris’ background working hands-on with customers and end users is still paying dividends, as his areas of focus today include customer reference/analyst interlocks and working closely with the field on sales enablement/assist programs.

Nathan Herrman

AR Manager (Enterprise Wireless Solutions) @ Ericsson

A former educator turned AR professional, Nathan excels at translating complex technical concepts into compelling analyst narratives that drive business results. He works closely with senior leadership to shape analyst perceptions and design engagement strategies that align with business goals. He is a North American Chapter Co-Lead for the Institute of Influencer & Analyst Relations.

Brenna Karr

Global Head of AR @ Palo Alto Networks

Brenna is the Global Head of AR at Palo Alto Networks, leading a team of experts around the world to drive analyst impact across technology and corporate areas within the company. Previously, she built and led International and Corporate AR at Cisco, managing a global team working with the CEO and Leadership Team to drive business transformation. She lives in Southern California with her husband and three children.

Stephanie Look

Head of AR @ Google

A corporate communications professional with 20+ years of experience leading strategic communications programs, Stephanie has built and scaled AR programs for technology companies at all stages of growth and market maturity. She has specialized experience in developing AR engagement strategies focused on building awareness, informing product strategy, amplifying competitive differentiation, and increasing customer consideration with direct impact to sales and marketing goals.

Chris Manfredi

Global AR Director @ Sprout Social

Chris is an AR professional, operations expert, competitive intelligence maven, and trained futurist. He has led AR programs and helped run large teams for a variety of companies at the enterprise level to post-startup, covering topics such as cloud computing, data analytics, data science, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, cybersecurity, and social media. He is a North American Chapter Co-Lead for the Institute of Influencer & Analyst Relations.

Karsten Scherer

Co-Founder @ Forge & Refine

Karsten’s background is theatre, organizational development, punk rock, and strategy consulting. Starting out as an org dev consultant in the mid-90’s, he has a 25+ year track record of building, leading, and aligning AR functions. Combining analyst insight, sales enablement, and value-oriented alignment between functions, Karsten elevates AR’s impact on leadership, strategy, and lines-of-business. In 2019, he co-founded Forge & Refine, a strategy and comms consultancy that advises leaders across a range of industries.

Jerry Weltsch

Head of AR @ Asana

Jerry has over 25 years of experience in the industry analyst field, with 15 years of experience as analyst and consultant (with Frost & Sullivan and IDC, respectively) followed by 9+ years in AR at Equinix, PagerDuty, ClickUp, and now Asana. A Silicon Valley native, he is never shy about asking questions and seeking connections between new ideas that drive innovations in the information technology field and why and how people, teams, and organizations adopt them.
