ROI: Saving
Time and Money Using Software To Manage
AR Three key letters seem to
resound through the corridors of every
organization in these economic times:
R-O-I. How many times have you heard or been
asked "What is the ROI on that?" Analyst
Relations software is no exception.
Peggy O'Neill, Institute of
Industry Analyst Relations board member and former
head of Oracle's AR, recently took an in-depth
look at the topic and authored a white paper
entitled: In Search of Efficiency:
Software Options for Analyst Relations. The
article examines the pros and cons of all software
options available for managing AR programs.
One of her most compelling
findings was that an organization using AR
software has the potential of saving $51,000 a
year per AR employee, while increasing his or her
efficiencies 34%. Click here to read

New
Feature: Analyst Finder Subsets
A new feature in ARchitect
allows you to refine result sets in the Analyst
Finder. As you already know, the Analyst Finder
lets you filter the analyst database on over a
dozen criteria to find the set of analysts you
need. From there you can create a group, output to
a report, etc.
But what if you want to further
refine that result set to get an even more
carefully targeted subset of analysts? Now
you can. Simply use the Analyst Finder as
usual and when it displays your "intermediate"
result set, click the Create
Subset button. A checkbox then appears next
to each analyst. Check the analysts you wish to
keep in your subset and then you can do all of the
same things: create a group, output to a
report, etc.
For an in-depth look at this
feature be sure to save-the-date for the
training sessions being offered below!

PracticeTraining: Analyst Lists That Produce
Results Focusing your efforts
on the most influential analysts in your
marketplace is key to a successful AR
program. An AR best practice is to evaluate
the influence of selected analysts and then create
your key analyst list.
But how do you determine your own
"short list" of analysts to investigate? How
do you keep up to date with the changing analyst
landscape? ARchitect provides processes that
can help you select and manage your analyst lists,
ultimately saving you time, compiling better data
and increasing efficiencies.
